FRENCH WORKSHOPS FROM DON THORPE IMAGES

ART WORKSHOP
IN PHOTOGRAPHY & PAINTING
The workshop is designed for people interested in painting & photography, or anyone wanting to learn more about the impressionist style of art on location where it all began.

Digital cameras may be used to capture images for photographic interpretation during the workshop and for painting reference at a later time. However, the only real requirement for this workshop is an interest in France and Impressionism.

Native French and Parisian born Catherine Thorpe will provide added insight and interest from the history of Impressionist art.

In conjunction with the annual Vive la France Tour to France, award winning photographer, Don O. Thorpe will present an "on-the-road" workshop of Impressionist art and photography.

WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
There will be short demonstrations and explanations of Impressionist art as it applies to the areas visited.

In the evenings there will be optional personal art instructions and individual photo review sessions so you can learn by doing.

Special techniques and interpretation of Impressionist photography and art will be explained and demonstrated. Of course, you will also learn about camera functions as well as design, color, and composition.

The workshop is given as a bonus for Vive la France School travelers. It is our way of giving more service and value to our clients.
