Park City is a unique phenomenon -- avant garde
and the old west in a marvelous mixture of color and style which suits an
Impressionist approach and interpretation.
I am an Impressionist at heart
and so my photographs have some of the characteristics of the Impressionist
painters of the last century. However the techniques I use are not borrowed
from painterly software, but are created with camera actions and software
enhancements of color, contrast, and texture, etc.
The subject
matter is somewhat eclectic as is the design and composition of the images,
but I think they
all fit into a broad interpretation of an Impressionist feeling and style.
