Don O. Thorpe
is an award winning international photographer who has been experimenting with
fine-art photography for several decades. He has won many awards in
competition and has been published in international magazines, including
Camera 35, Modern Photography, The Ensign and The New Era. He authored and
illustrated the book "The Amphoto Guide to Available Light Photography," and
was the photographer for a popular book by Holy Land tour guide Daniel Rona
called "Israel Revealed." He has had over a dozen one-man photo exhibits,
and exhibited in the International Photography and Travel Fair in the New
York Coliseum, The Finch Lane Art Gallery, Eccles Gallery, Harris Fine Arts
Gallery, The Utah Council of Arts Gallery, Springville Art Museum and
others.
Recently, Mr. Thorpe has added private tutoring by telephone. This is
made possible by using email and FTP services to evaluate images while
conversing on the phone. The price is the same ($45/hour) with the added cost of the
long-distance call which is approximately $5.
