Abstract Photographic
Impressionism is an imaginative process of photography that emphasizes the
color and harmony of an unseen reality. I have found it is the best way I can express my
deepest feelings in a visual form.
These images were created with a single camera exposure using
the in-camera techniques I used in my
CAMERA-ONLY GALLERY. I don't
have adverse feelings about composite images, in fact, I use them
occasionally, however most of the time a single image seems to best get at
the heart of my feelings about the subjects I photograph.
Most of these images have been enhanced with digital software
and other processes to give the tones more fluidity and the colors more-or-less intensity.
The subject
matter is somewhat eclectic as is the design and composition of the images,
but I feel they
all fit into a virtual interpretation of an Abstract Impressionist style.
